Aleda Nelson is a native Las Vegan who developed, and since 1988, has chaired the annual Interfaith Forums.  She is a board member of the Interfaith Council of Southern NV. She served as executive director of the Clark Co Chapter of the National Conference of Christians and Jews for six years where she instituted the Issues in Justice program, clergy dialogues, the Interfaith Forums and the first Anytown Nevada Youth programs which continue today. With a BA in Psych. from Antioch U., she is former president of Nelson Auctioneering, a real estate auction company operating in the Southwest. As member of the Baha’i Faith, she currently serves on the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of Las Vegas.
